	~~Starting today, I will try to work on making the site~~ a ~~little bit more accessible by adding visual descriptions to the photo subpages. You can expect a useful alt-text written out beneath the photo~~ and ~~a very short one like "small pig", "big pig", "cute pig" on the species page as to not spam people using the internet on readers or software blocking photos~~. ~~I know that alt-text~~ is ~~the only way to "view" photos for millions of people. I also know, AI crawlers will probably misuse those descriptions~~ and ~~I hope I don't get in trouble in terms of server traffic once they notice~~ I am a ~~good source~~. ~~Well anyway, I hope doing this will make~~ this ~~wiki more accessible to some people. It will take a long time to implement it over the whole~~ wiki and ~~I won't be doing that~~ in ~~one big chunk of time, just as I don't work on the wiki daily and some pages don't even have a description yet.~~		This isn't a commercial project and never will be. The Australian Carpet Beetle is one of several species of carpet beetles found in homes all around the world, despite its name. Their larvae feed on all sorts of natural materials like fur, wool and leather. Don't freak out, if you see a single one of them, it is unknown what they feed on as grown beetles, but it might be the conditions in your apartment were just ideal for the beetle to stay for a bit. If you see more than one, check your stored clothing and carpets for small holes and tears.

			In Ancient Egypt (circa 3150 BC - 30 BC) animals played a crucial role in daily life, not only as source for food, leather, wool and other materials, but also as pets and individuals to share space with. Different kinds of anthropomorphized deities emerged over the course of centuries and were carried over into ever changing beliefs. Depictions of animals became part of symbols in the alphabet (commonly called "hieroglyphs") and decorated cities, buildings and temples.

			<b>"Saurierpark Kleinwelka"</b> is located near Bautzen / Germany, very close to the Polish border. The park was started by sculptor Franz Gruß (1931-2006) in 1978 and features over 200 sculptures of extinct animals such as dinosaurs, sauropods and early mammals and birds. Gruß based his work on the scientific beliefs of what these animals looked like at the time he designed the sculptures. The park has carried on this tradition. New works are based on what archeologists / paleontologists believe, an animal looked like at the time when the sculpture is first created. All sculptures are made from structural metal mesh, concrete and a textural layer to add details such as scales and hair before being painted. The park itself is mostly centered around family activities and entertainment and does not try to be a outdoor museum.

The photo shows an empty spider's net in front of a window with white older buildings from the late 19th century in the background. The sun shines on it brightly so the net can be seen clearly. It looks like a typical spider net but one sector, the one between 1.30 and 3 o'clock, is missing. So it is clear it belongs to a sector spider. The reason I know, it is x-notata, is because the spider comes out at night and can be viewed.
