Roman Snail crossing a path

Roman Snails are the biggest species of land snails and snails in general in Germany and one of the biggest in Europe. It is threatened in certain areas but populations have recovered so that it isn't threatened to go extinct at the moment. Seeing a fully-grown healthy Roman Snail however is a rare sight.
