A new feature has arrived on the wiki! You can now see a list of all animals without having to be an expert in navigating the "special pages". And you can also view the common names in English and German! Gotta be honest here, I added the German ones mostly for my Dad. Because this is how my Dad uses the internet: He has his browser auto-translate every page. So when he gets to the wiki, he sees all the information in German but the moment he types something in the search bar on the top of the page, there is nothing to be found at all. Now there is! If you're a German user and you type an animal into the search bar and the wiki has it - there it is! Have fun with the [[A-Z English|"A-Z"]] index!
This year I applied to be an official ambassador for iNaturalist and it happened, I got accepted into the program! I love iNaturalist, it re-introduced me to actively looking for animals around 2020, a thing I hadn't done since I was a child. Without the platform, this wiki wouldn't exist. It sparked my interest and then made me competitive about collecting observations and taking good photos of the tiny critters I encountered.
